Ok ladies, let’s open up your design packets and get started.

Time for a style quiz.  Not to worry, there are no wrong answers.

Creating floor plans is serious business.

Thanks again to those who attended.  Here are some comments I received from the participants:

“I never put much thought into revamping my office (just throw some paint on the walls and toss the clutter).  But with Lynne’s design ideas, I’ve learned that a simple floor plan, a little furniture placement and some fun color schemes will create the right mood and personality I’ve been looking for in my professional work space.  Now, my office will look fresh, stylish and very inviting!  Thanks Lynne!”

“I really feel like I learned a lot about planning before doing.  Lynne was super easy to understand and I found her suggestions very enlightening as well as helpful towards the end result.  Not only that, it was really fun too!”

If you missed out on the fun this time, mark your calendar for the next workshop on Sunday, May 18, 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. at Blue Line Arts in Roseville, CA.

We will be covering the following topics:

  1. Fine tune your personal style so you can shop with confidence.
  2. Create a functional floor plan based on how the room will be used, utilizing your measurements and templates provided by me.
  3. Create a color scheme that you will be able to carry with you when you shop.
  4. Learn how to avoid my list of top 10 decorating mistakes.
  5. Create a vision board that you will be able to take home with you to provide inspiration as you complete your space.

The cost of the workshop is $45, which includes floor plan templates, color tools, my list of Top 10 Decorating Mistakes and materials to create your own vision board.  I ask that you bring pictures of your room, as well as complete measurements.  If you have already started clipping or pinning inspirational photos for your room, feel free to bring those too.

The class size is limited so reservations are required.  To make a reservation or to receive more information on the workshop, submit an email to lynne@lynnepearce.com with your name and phone number.

I hope to see you there!
